This Avid RC receiver is a replica of the Sanwa RX-492i 2.4GHz 4-Channel FHSS5 SSL Telemetry Receiver which uses a built-in antenna with exceptional range and response time. With a lightweight design and a small footprint, this receiver is great for 1/10 and 1/12 scale electric RC cars. This receiver is SSL compatible with either the Super Vortex or PGS Servos (Sold Separately).

Note

  • RPM sensor (SNW107A41061A) and temperature sensor are not compatible
  • RPM and temperature telemetry are only capable with the Sanwa Super Vortex series
  • FH5U RF mode is not capable to use telemetry

Tip

  • The plug area is tight and if you have a Futaba J plug with the small side guide piece, it is recommended that you trim it off with an Xacto (cut away from yourself please).

Bind

  • These instructions are included with your receiver.
  • Turn on the transmitter, enter [BIND].
  • Connect the included BIND plug into the BIND port.
  • Turn on the receiver.
  • The LED will change from slow flashing blue to fast.
  • Turn off the receiver, remove the BIND plug.
  • Finish the [BIND] mode on the transmitter.
  • Turn the receiver back on, you are good to go.
