The Silent Speed brushed motor by JConcepts is the perfect complement to RTR trucks looking for drivable power. The 13T-turn Silent Speed motor with 550 can has a fixed end-bell featuring the stealth, black appearance is great for consistent performance.

The output side of the motor features a ball bearing while the outer brush hood is bushing supported. Simply install the pinion gear back to the motor, align to form proper gear mesh and drop the Silent Speed motor back in to place in the vehicle. Install plug-in or solder motor wires back into place for proper rotation and place the vehicle back into service. Notes from the team –

The ideal running temperature range of the motor is between 115-120 degrees. It’s important to watch the operating temperature and adjust gearing appropriately to stay within the ideal range. Over-gearing extended full-throttle and full-braking runs will heat the motor quickly. Any temperature over 150 degrees is risking permanent damage to the motor and internal components. Always monitor the appearance of the commutator, brushes, shunt, and springs for excessive saturated heat as indicated by blue to orange or red coloring.
