Once you signup for an advertising plan, PayPal instantly sends a message back to our server to confirm that payment was received. Your advertising admin account is then created automatically and you can upload your banner and begin your advertising campaign instantly. Overall, this process can take less than a minute from start to finish if you have your banner ready to go.
Yes, you can change your banner at any time. This can be done instantly by logging into your admin area and uploading a new banner.
Yes, you can have up to 25 banners in rotation per advertising plan. Every time your ad is displayed, our system will randomly choose one of your banners to display. Additionally, you can set each banner to be active or inactive. Inactive banners will remain on our server, but will not be displayed. You cannot delete or overwrite a banner once it is uploaded. This is a security measure we have taken so an advertiser cannot upload a malicious or inappropriate banner for a short term and them remove it. If you are at your limit of 25 banners and have old banners that are no longer being, you may contact us to have old ones manually removed to make room for new banners.
Each advertising plan has specific restrictions. These are listed on the advertising plans page.
Yes, we do have certain restrictions on the content that can be in a banner, however these are all common sense rules that should be observed on any website that is targeted for people of all ages. Banners must not contain any nudity, sexually orientated images, vulgarity, racism, negative comments directed at specific people or manufacturers, or anything else that may be deemed as inappropriate. Any advertisers found in violation of these rules will be deactivated at our discretion without refund. If you are unsure of a banner, we encourage you to contact us for approval.
No, all advertising campaigns are non-refundable.
No, making a banner appealing to viewers is your responsibility. Banners with animation, interactivity, and appealing graphics and colors will generally get the best results.
Your banner will be shown on all websites on LiveRC.com, including the LiveRC.com live scoring screen for all events. We are continually adding more and more content on our site, and your banner will automatically be shown on page.
To purchase additional slots in our banner rotation, you must purchase an additional advertising plan. You can upload the same banners or different banners to this plan. Our advertising program works by creating a list of every active advertising plan, and then selects the next banner on the list every time a page is loaded.
Yes, you can run as many campaigns as you want. Running an additional campaign is done by purchasing an additional advertising plan.
Yes, you can view real time statistics for your advertising plans at any time by logging into the advertising admin area.
No. We require all banners to be uploaded to our servers so we have a copy of the content of every banner that has been displayed. This is done for content control and security reasons.
No, we do not trade ad space with other companies and/or websites. If you want to trade links with us, please see our links section.
Yes, as long as your website is appropriate for viewers of all ages. Sites that are targeted toward and/or contain ads for pornographic material, gambling, racism, or anything else of that nature are not allowed. Any advertisers found in violation of these rules will be deactivated at our discretion without refund. If you are unsure about your website, we encourage you to contact us for approval.
Once you pay for your advertising plan, you will not be charged for the duration of your plan, regardless of any rate increases. You may purchase additional plans and apply them to an existing plan in the admin area to lock in at a rate for a longer period of time. For example, if you purchase a 1 year term, you may also purchase 2 additional one year terms and apply them to the same advertising plan. That means that you are pre-paid and locked in for three years. Before any rate increases, we will send out an e-mail to all current advertisers a few days before the rate increase occurs. This will allow you to add to your existing plan at the current rates.
Yes, you will receive an automated e-mail from us 1 week, and again 1 day before your term is set to expire.
No, we will never bill you automatically. If you wish to renew, simply purchase a new advertising. If you wish to cancel, do nothing and your campaign will expire.
No, you cannot resell your advertising space or split it with another company. Doing so will be grounds for having your account deactivated without refund. You may show banners for more than one company if and only if you are the owner of both companies. To be safe, we encourage you to contact us for approval first.
Yes, we do offer customized advertising solutions. All custom plans will be individually quoted. Please contact us for more details or with your requirements.
We prefer PayPal because it fully automates the entire advertising process. If you are unable to pay via PayPal, we will accept checks or money orders, however there will be an additional $5 processing fee. Please contact us for details on how to pay by check or money order.
