The 1/8th scale electric nationals are upon us, and LiveRC is there to bring the event to our Bonus Lap members! (Non-members can still watch fixed camera after waiting in queue)

The event is taking place at a brand new (kind of) track at the world-famous HobbyPlex in Omaha, Nebraska. You may remember the last incarnation of their off-road track from previous ROAR nationals, as well as other large regional-level races. Well, not one to rest on their laurels, "The Plex," as it as referred to as, decided to up and put a roof over their outdoor track. Not just a roof, but an entire building, actually.

This race marks the first major running under the new ceiling at The Plex. It will also mark another year of national-level competition for the electric 1/8th buggy class.

The class, which can best be described as being "in-flux" for the majority of its short existence, is desperately looking to establish itself amongst a U.S. racing scene that is already saturated with prestigious classes. This year's event is looking to do just that, with several "top guns" coming out to vie for the ROAR national title.

Make sure you tune in to catch the action, and also catch a glimpse of the amazing facility they have constructed in Omaha! You can watch this weekend by clicking HERE.
