A surprisingly sunny weekend in the North of the UK saw Shepherd take their second UK national win of the 2021 season. A great qualifying session saw 3 Shepherd V8.2s in the top 6. Tim lined up 2nd on the grid, with team mate John Carr in 4th and Karl Dransfield lining up 6th.
An eventful start to the race saw Tim drop back in the pack, battling back through to take the lead for the rest of the race. With an eye on tyre wear, a controlled race managing lap times ultimately gave a well-deserved win. Congratulations to Karl Dransfield taking 5th overall on his Shepherd debut.
