Dreighton Stoub topped 2wd Q1 with Spencer Rivkin taking stadium truck and 4wd to finish out the first round at CRCRC 2022.

Stoub would finish out 2wd buggy just ahead of Rivkin and top seed Tom Rinderknecht who also took the TQ in stock buggy. Dakotah Phend, a staple at the event continued a weird string of luck not finishing Q1 after also not finishing seeding.

Rivkin would steal the round 1 TQ from Phend in 4wd on the last lap with Dakotah making a bobble in the final corner. Aydin Horne would finish out the top 3.
