Davide Ongaro has started off his 2023 IFMAR World Championships 4wd campaign with a TQ in round 1 and round 2 of qualifying.
Round one of qualifying saw Davide take the TQ from Michael 'Tater' Sontag by less than a 10th of a second. Marcus Kaerup would finish up 3rd with Ty Tessmann 4th from the B sort and Dustin Evans 5th.
The 2nd round of qualifying would look fairly similar with Davide once again taking the TQ this time from top seed Dakotah Phend with Bruno Coelho in 3rd from the B sort. Marcus Kaerup and Dustin Evans would both grab their second top 5 finishes, this time in 4th and 5th.
