Press Release From Amain Hobbies:
www.amainhobbies.com

AMain Hobbies is announcing a pair of races coming to its Silver Dollar RC Raceway in Chico, CA in September. The 12th Annual Labor Day Shootout will be a two-day extravaganza at the World Class facility on September 3-4, and the 2022 RC Gold Cup (oval racing) is scheduled for Saturday, September 10. Entries are currently open for both races and can be processed at the track upon arrival.

The Labor Day Shootout has been a staple of the Northern California 1:8 off-road racing scene and offers competitors a chance to race on a dynamic and flowing Kevin Jelich-designed layout at the same facility that hosted the 2013 IFMAR World Championships, 2015 ROAR Fuel 1:8 Nationals, and 2017 AMain Hobbies Manufacturers Cup.

The one-day RC Gold Cup will bring together many of the fastest oval racers on the West Coast and will be hosted on its own on-site 100-foot x 51-foot oval track.

Plenty of covered pit spaces with power, tables, and chairs will be provided along with a large wash station, compressed air, and free Wi-Fi internet access. The AMain Hobbies retail store is located within walking distance of the track, providing racers with a wide array of replacement parts via online ordering while in your pit space.

Silver Dollar RC Raceway is located at 101 Silver Dollar Way in Chico, CA. For more information, contact Race and Track Director Kevin Jelich at 510-282-2450.
