Yesterday, the Japanese RC blog Kimihiko Yano published these photos of what is assumed to be the replacement for Yokomo’s R12 C3.1 1/12-scale pan car. Seen here with parts fashioned by a rapid prototyping machine, the front suspension seems to be the most radical change. The front upper wishbones are attached to the chassis with two pivot balls each, while small shocks connect to the lower wishbones to provide damping. The chassis and single-bellcrank steering system look standard enough, but the rear suspension has at least one change - roll dampers that are considerably larger than those used on the C3.1.

The blog post contained no other information about the car, or even where it was on display.
