After seven years as a representative for Team Associated, during which the SoCal native also worked for the company, Chris Jarosz announced via Facebook around 11 AM CT that he has ended his involvement.

“Seven years ago Team Associated and Reedy took a chance on sponsoring me and it's something I will be forever grateful for. Throughout the years I grew both as a racer and person under the guidance of Brent Thielke, Rick Hohwart, Sean Cochran, Cliff Lett and everyone else at Team Associated and Reedy. At this point in time I have decided on a different venture for 2016 and beyond. I will never forget the memories made and lessons learned from everyone at Team Associated and Reedy along with the race team. I would like to thank everyone who has ever supported me and again thank Team Associated and Reedy for the constant and unwavering support and wealth of knowledge gained, and I'd like to wish everyone at Team Associated and Reedy nothing but the best both on an off the track.”

Later on in the comments of his "friends-only" Facebook post, he confirmed his attendance for the 2016 Reedy Race next month.

The SoCal native found momentum as a sponsored driver before moving to Reno, NV, where he became one of the fastest racers in Northern California and Nevada. Earlier this year, Jarosz moved to Las Vegas and began frequenting the local racing scene.

Where will he end up? The off-road racer competes in both electric and nitro classes, making him a valuable choice for major brands eager for representation in a popular market that will also host the 2016 IFMAR Worlds. Team Durango's Travis Amezcua offered Jarosz a deal in a comment on the original post:

Going from AE to TLR isn't unheard of, but with Kyosho having a strong network in Vegas - including recent signee Kyle Johnson and RC Tracks of Las Vegas owner Chris Tocco, for whom Jarosz stood in as a track announcer last month - they've got my vote as slight favorites.
