Hupo Honigl departed from Serpent

Austrian on- and off-road racing veteran Hupo Hönigl became the latest driver to make a big move this offseason by announcing his departure from Serpent on his Facebook page this morning. He wasn't shy about it, either.

"I would like to thank Team Serpent for the support over the last year. We had ups and downs together and I can look back to a great year of racing. Unfortunately the time together was shorter then expected - I do not want to got too much into details here - it just did not work out as planned...

No word yet where Hönigl may end up - nor any rumors so far. Perhaps a return to Team Durango, where he raced before joining Serpent?

I would like to thank Team Serpent for the support over the last year. We had ups and downs together and I can look back...
