As first reported by RedRC, Yokomo has signed both Eric Albano and Daniel Kobbevik. Both drivers had previously raced for Team Associated for years, and will further bolster Yokomo’s resurgence in electric off-road racing both in their home regions as well as at major events.

Albano, a 21-year-old Santa Rosa, CA resident, is a former winner of the Open Modified class at the Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions as well as one of the fastest off-road racers in Northern California. He will attend both on- and off-road races in 2016 including the Reedy International Off-Road and Touring Car Races, the Cactus Classic, International Indoor Championships, and others.

Ten-year-old Kobbevik began winning races across Scandinavia in 2012 and two years later, at age 8, became the youngest driver ever to qualify for the finals at the European Championships. Daniel signed a two-year deal to use Yokomo vehicles and electronics through the 2017 season.
