The HB Factory Team Signs up for 2016!

It's Been a Great Year!

2015 has been an exceptional year for Team HB, with multiple Worlds and European Championship podium appearances, winning the ENS series and many big race wins around the world - and this is all after starting the year as the reigning World Champion for 1/8th Buggy! With a stable of under a dozen factory drivers around the world, Team HB maintains a highly focused factory driver roster plus an ever growing infantry team!

For 2016, Team HB will continue with the same concentrated factory effort supported by local and regional racers around the world, and we are happy to announce the drivers that have helped make 2015 such a great year for the team and that Team HB are retaining in 2016.

Ty Tessmann

The reigning IFMAR World Champion for 1/8th Buggy, Ty has solidified his place in RC greatness by continuing an unprecedented run of wins and top results in 2015. From doing the double at the ROAR Fuel Nationals (buggy and truggy champion) to wins at The Dirt Nitro Challenge, Cactus Classic and Sik Cross, "Team Tessmann" continues their roll of dominance and top-level form!

David Ronnefalk

David continues to impress, and with his first Worlds podium, a pair 2nd place finishes at European Champion events (E-Buggy and 1/8th buggy), 3rd place at the NeoX race and truggy win at The Dirt Nitro Challenge, the Swedish 1/8th buggy champ is also on a roll of top finishes. Still a young and developing racer, we're sure to see more great results from David in 2016!

Tanner Stees

The youngest member of Team HB, Tanner is big part of the future of our team and had some big achievements this year, including 2nd at the Toys for Tots race and several best-ever results at major North American races. With the experience he's gained already next to Ty and Drew, he's sure to be finishing in the A Main in more and more big races in the future!

Adrian Bertin

As a former 1/8th on-road World Champion and exalted engine designer and tuner, Adrian leads the HB 1/8th on-road racing efforts from Europe, home to one of the most concentrated gatherings of nitro on-road racers in the world. His efforts have led to better and better results for the Team HB nitro on-road racers, and we look forward to more in 2016!

Andy Moore

The former ISTC World Champion and British Champion splits his time between the UK and Asia, honing his racing and tuning skills on all manner of top-level on-road racing platforms. With 2016 being a Worlds year for 1/10th nitro and electric touring car, we know Andy will be on the top of his game throughout the racing season!

Jilles Groskamp

The 2015 Euro Nitro Series 1/8th Champion continues to shine, this time in 1/8th and 1/10th nitro on-road racing! Developing the different HB on-road chassis along with racing each one at the highest level requires commitment, skill and racing expertise - qualities that shine through in Jilles!

Freddy Südhoff

The most recent addition to Team HB's on-road corps, Freddy started the year with a bang, getting 3rd place at the big DHI Cup race. More top ten results came during the year, proving that adding Freddy to the team was a great decision - we can't wait to see what else he can achieve with the team alongside him!

JJ Wang

Just 18 years old, JJ continues to develop as a racer in big races across the US and Asia, where he's a consistent A-Final finisher against the best touring car racers in the world. Wins at the AOC race and Hong Kong Charity Invitational have helped sealed JJ's reputation as a driver not to be messed with, and we're very excited to see where JJ will go next with Team HB!
