King to run REDS Racing electronics

2010 IFMAR 1/8-Scale Off-Road World Champion Cody King announced on his Facebook page yesterday evening that he will run REDS Racing motors and speed controls in his electric off-road vehicles this season. The move marks a complete departure from Team Orion after nearly a decade.

"So with the 2016 race schedule kicking off with the Reedy race, I want to announce I will be running Reds Racing electronics in my electric powered vehicles. I'm looking forward to working closely with Reds, the team drivers, and customers on set-up and race support. I also want to say huge thank you to Team Orion, and wish them nothing but the best in the future. They have been a huge part of my racing program all the way from the beginning. It's tough to cut the cord, but the time is right for this move."

So with the 2016 race schedule kicking off with the Reedy race, I want to announce I will be running Reds Racing...
