Just before 11 AM CST (nearly 8 PM in Sweden), two-time former European Champion David Ronnefalk announced on Facebook that he would no longer be using KO Propo radio equipment or servos after joining the Japanese company in 2009 following his European 'B' Championship win.
Here's what David said:
"I would herewith let you know that I will no longer be representing Ko Propo. I felt it was time for a change and I have got a great opportunity from another brand.
Ko Propo have been with me ever since I broke through with my EC-B win in 2009 and I cant thank them enough for the support I have got. I want to thank everyone at Ko Propo Japan for all the years and I wish them best of luck for the future!"
His future destination, at least according to the rumor mill, is undetermined - though he doesn't mention the deal is already done. None of David's other sponsors have outward ties to another manufacturer.
