Kyosho Optima re-release coming soon?

Around 6:10 PM CT yesterday evening, Kyosho headquarters in Japan changed the cover photo of the brand's Facebook page to match a teaser image loaded to the company's website - alluding to upcoming news of a new vehicle. The silhouette of the item suggests a re-release of a vintage vehicle, following successful second runs of popular pioneer vehicles like the Tomahawk, Scorpion, and Beetle.

Naturally, the comments section of the Facebook post quickly filled with guesses - with most agreeing that the protruding shock towers and body contour look similar to the Optima. The teaser appears on both Englisn and Japanese versions of Kyosho's homepage, though there's no mention on Kyosho America's site - and Kyosho has not said when more information will be available.
