Meister signed with Shepherd

The former European and German Champion Karl-Heinz Meister made a surprising move to Team Shepherd for the 2016 season. Together with his wife Maria he will join all the Western German Championship races as well as the German Championship in Hamm. Furthermore Karl-Heinz thinks about participating at the 2016 EFRA Euros 40+ which also takes placec in Hamm. His Velox V8 "EC" will be equipped with KHM tuned Picco engines and Matrix Tyres.

Karl-Heinz had the following to say:

"To change the team wasn’t an easy move and I would like to thank Michael Salven, Pieter Bervoets and Jirka Hassler for the exceptional support and the great times we had. But although I’m 60 years old I’m still having a lot of fun with this fascinating hobby and I needed a new challenge. That's why i'm really looking forward to join Team Shepherd for the upcoming season. Many thanks to Patrick Schäfer and Andreas Giesa for this great opportunity."
