Rising Italian off-road racing star, who broke out on the international scene by finishing sixth at the IFMAR World Championships in Las Vegas, announced his departure from Mugen Seiki this week with the following statement (previously reported by RedRC and Neobuggy):

“After three years of a successful cooperation with Mugen Seiki Europe that peaked with the brilliant results at the Vegas Worlds, it is time for me and my team to try a new adventure. My new destination will be announced shortly. I would like to take the chance to thank Stefan at MSE, Sanada San and Osaka San at Mugen Japan, and my team mates Adam Drake and Robert Batlle for all the support they gave me. Your help is something I’ll be forever grateful for.”

It's been a tough offseason for Mugen Seiki, having previously lost Lee Martin and the Baldo brothers - leaving only former world champion Robert Batlle in Europe.

Last week, the fifteen-year-old shared several photos from a carpet race in which he drove a Team Associated TC7 touring car with help from several of the company's sponsored drivers - and he was wearing the brand's sweatshirt:

He also had a body painted and stickered for his new car:
