Texas Summer Payout Series

Schedule:

  1. May 12-13 Tyler R/C
  2. June 2-3 Club RC
  3. June 30-July 1 Indy RC
  4. July 28-29 Thornhill Jr

$30 entry $10 back into cash payout for 1-3 for each class, payout depends on class entries.

($10 into Pot, 18 to the track, 2.00 to the organizer for trophies per entry)

1st- 50%, 2nd- 30%, 3rd- 20%

Series is best 3/4 for cool trophies presented at the finals

(Must be at finals to be eligible for series finishes)

Classes:

  • Mod Buggy- 2S, no motor limit
  • Mod Wheeler- 2S, no motor limit
  • 13.5 Wheeler- 2S, Blinky, 13.5T motor limit
  • 17.5 Buggy- 2S, Blinky, 17.5 motor limit
  • Pro 2 SC- 2S, no motor limit
  • Pro 4 SC- 2S, no motor limit
  • Mod Truck- 2S, no motor limit
  • 40+ 2wd Buggy- 2S, no motor limit
  • Novice- Any Car Allowed ($10 entry fee trophies at each race)
  • Track Discretion: $20 per class no trophies or payout 
  • Spec Slash/Bandit
  • Ebuggy (Track rules)
  • Etruggy (Track Rules)

Schedule:
Friday practice 3-8PM
Saturday: Signups close at 9:45AM
Saturday (practice for those who didn't practice on Friday) 8:30-10AM
Saturday 10:15AM Drivers Meeting
Saturday 10:30 3, 5 minute qualifiers

(Resort after round 2)
(Rocket Round)
(6 minute double a mains) 
(Single A-mains for novice)
(6 minute lower mains)

Series Trophies: 1st-3rd
Best 3 out of 4, must attend finals
1 PT for TQ
200 for first, 199 for second, 198 for third, etc…

Reason for 2 days total: allows racers the time to get home Sunday by mid-afternoon and relax before work Monday, same with track owners.

Friday practice: 5 hours to level the playing field if the track decides to not put in a new layout, or 5 hours to help break in a new layout. Either way, attendees and track owners don't have to take a full day off work if they don't want to.
