During the event hundreds of remote controlled car racers of all ages from all over the southeast will compete in 1/10th and 1/8th scale electric and nitro fueled classes for a chance to take home the title of state champions.

"If anyone has ever thought about getting into remote controlled racing then this is a great opportunity for folks to watch world class racers and to learn more about the hobby at the same time," said S.C.O.R.E. member Jake Crawley.

The event is open to the public and free for spectators. Racers can visit www.PhilHurdRC.com for registration information and further details. The cost for registration is $40 for the first class and $30 for each additional class.
