It's hard to believe this will be the 7th Annual event. We have gained a good following by hosting the Midwest RC Tour Finals in 2015 and 2016 and we are expecting some great talent from all over the Midwest. We hope many racers will be able to join us for the event. For more information about the track/race search for LRT Raceway and Hobby on Facebook and if you cannot attend check out www.karsynskrusaders.org and purchase an t-shirt or hoodie to donate to this fantastic charity.

From Danny Bartholomew, via Facebook:

"On July 11th, 2017, the world lost Jessica Miller in an automobile accident. As we grieve the loss of Jessica, it has shown myself as well as everyone she ever came in contact with that we can all do more. She lived to give back to others. She was selfless, always making sure everything was PERFECT for everyone else. A simple act of kindness can go a long way. If there were more Jessica Miller's in this world it would be a much better place. While she has left this earth for Heaven, she left behind a legacy that we can only hope to match. Giving, kindness, family and passion are words I've heard so much about Jessica this past week. And those descriptive words don't do justice for what Jessica stood for. She was beyond those. She sure was something none of us has seen before, a true Angel on Earth.

I approached Jessica about doing a charity RC race to benefit KK in early 2011 (our 1st full season as a track). She was ALL for it! It was racing and on dirt so it fit pretty well with their model. I'm extremely proud to say that through the first 6 years of the race we raise $800-$1000 each year for this amazing organization. In their 7 years, KK has raised over $650,000 which has been dispersed among many organizations like the Make-a-Wish Foundation etc.

What has always amazed me is Jessica and Andy put so much time and effort into our Karsyn's Krusaders Off-Road Challenge. That's what stands out to me about Jessica is she gave as much passion to our small fundraiser that made $1000 as she did for much larger events. She contacted me in January to find out when we were wanting to have the 7th annual race this year. I honestly hadn't thought about a date at that point, that's how pro-active she was about KK. No matter how busy their schedule is they make time for us."
