About T.A.R.A.:

"It all started with a conversation between 4 racers after an evening of fun racing in October of 2016. I was convinced to start the series. My first call was to my buddy Barret Miller. So together we had the schedule for the 2017 season and rules done and posted before December. We had no idea what to expect, just hopes of some good times and fun racing with friends. We have exceeded our expectations, and for that we thank all our racers and supporters of the T.A.R.A series.

You see all the money that T.A.R.A brings in goes back to the racers at the end of the 8 race, 3 state point series. Not only do we award the podium spots in each race, we also award the top 10 in points with awards and payout the top 5 overall in each class. Our tracks include Battleground RC Raceway in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Spring Creek RC Raceway in Enid, Oklahoma, Wild Bills in Irving, Texas, Taylor Park Raceway in Yukon, Oklahoma, Sandhill Raceway in Great Bend, Louisiana, and Lawton RC Raceway in Lawton, Oklahoma. Please check out our Facebook page Tornado Alley Racing Association!" - Shane Wheeler, Founder
