Randy Pike explains what Throttle Frequency is and how to use it on Tekin ESCs. This setting can give you a huge advantage in both racing and crawling applications, allowing you to fine tune the throttle feel to your liking. Crawler and Scale Truck applications should use the maximum setting of 12,000Hz, modified racing drivers should be in the 6-10,000Hz range and stock drivers should be in the 1-5,000Hz range. There is no right or wrong here, it all depends on how you want your throttle to feel, so make adjustments and decide the best setting for you!

Randy Pike explains what Brake Frequency is and how to use it on Tekin ESCs. Brake Frequency can have a major impact on the feel and performance of braking power and is definitely not a setting you should overlook. Lower frequencies give a more aggressive braking and higher frequencies will smooth braking. Typically we recommend running 8,000Hz and above for most offroad racing if the track is more on the loose side. For high tracion offroad tracks and onroad racing, lower values can be used for more aggressive braking. Rock Crawlers and Scale Trucks should run 750Hz for maximum Drag Brake power to prevent unwanted rolling while out on the rocks.
