Team Yokomo's statement on Smolnik situation

Recently Yokomo LTD Japan and Andrew Smolnik reached a preliminary agreement for long term employment to help promote Yokomo in the United States and beyond. 

Unfortunately for both Yokomo and Mr. Smolnik, the timing of such an agreement conflicted with existing efforts and commitments of the US distributor and therefore, Mr. Smolnik has mutually agreed to step aside from Yokomo to pursue other opportunities within the Industry.  We appreciate the professionalism from Mr. Smolnik with this miscommunication and wish him a deserving prosperity.

Yokomo will continue to work with our US distributor to formulate an effective race team in the future.  Resumes for the 2018 season are being accepted in efforts to formulate a select team to compliment top US drivers headlined by Ryan Maifield  Drivers who wish to represent the Yokomo brand in the future may submit resumes for next season to RandyP@AMain.com however, decisions and communication will not commence until later in 2017 to allow for proper organization.
