World Champion Balestri heads entry for U.S. World Nitro Cup

This weekend (1-3 December) Full Throttle RC Raceway in Kissimmee hosts its annual U.S. World Nitro Cup with newly crowned 1:8 World Champion Dario Balestri heading a strong international entry. With the Onroad nitro season having wound down in Europe for the winter, the 5th running of the event is an opportunity to take advantage of Florida's warmer weather and break up the off season with competitive race action. With the Infinity team once again making the trip stateside to contest one of America's highest profile annual nitro events, Balestri will be joined in the team's challenge for 1:8 honours by Worlds star Naoto Matsukura, Lamberto Collari and reigning multiple U.S. World Nitro Cup champion Alberto Picco, along with Trin T and Kenji Taira. Following their successful 1:8 World Championship campaign and some time to celebrate their TQ and win in France back in September, the U.S. World Nitro Cup presents the ideal opportunity to get preparations underway for next year's 1:10 Nitro World Championships. Also taking place in Miami at the nearby Homestead Miami Raceway next October, Teemu Leino, Jilles Groskamp and Andy Moore will use this weekend to begin Infinity's development of a new sedan while they also strive to round out the 2017 season with 1:10 victory at U.S. World Nitro Cup.
