Dear LiveRC.com members,

For the last 5 years, we have attended nearly every ROAR race annually to broadcast it as well hundreds of other events around the country.  At each race that we have planned to attend, we have always been there and our crew has been extremely reliable.  Unfortunately, our plans to cover the 2014 ROAR 1:8 Electric Off-Road Nationals have had a last minute change due to a family emergency by our crew.

If you have been to any race that LiveRC has covered, you have probably seen Bob, our main broadcast guy at each race.  This week, Bob got the news that his daughter Jesse would be having a baby a couple weeks earlier than expected.  Bob was scheduled to be at this race and we had his flights and everything booked, but some things are more important than racing and we are in full support of Bob's request to spend today with his daughter while she gives birth to her first child.

We apologize to everyone for this last minute change of plans, but we would like also like to send out our best wishes to Jesse, Bob, and their entire family for the delivery which is scheduled for today.

We have worked with the track to get live results online, and they are also broadcasting live video with a webcam.  However, the connection speed at the track is a very slow 300KBPS, so the quality of the feed may be quite low and unreliable without our equipment there to supply faster Internet.

Thank you all for your understanding.
