In a press release announcement of the Team Orion Facebook page reaching 10,000 fans, the company also announced the signing of a "Super Star" driver. The catch is that they did not release this "Super Star" drivers name, and have no intentions of doing so until July 1, 2014.

Team Orion states, "With great pleasure we announce that the Team Orion Facebook Page reached the ten thousandth fan this week! This is the best opportunity for us to thank each and every fan and customer for the great trust and loyalty into our brand.

In 1987, when the Team Orion success story started, the owner Philippe Neidhart and his friends were still alone believing in the success of their new battery technology. After a short period in the local market, the voltage enhanced V-Max batteries took the world by storm and the global Team Orion spirit and shine was born.

Since then the Swiss based company has revolutionized the RC hobby in many different product categories - for example by bringing LiPo battery technology to rc cars with the hard case idea. Team Orion also managed to win World Championship titles in off-road, on-road, nitro and electric classes. A dream came true for Philippe Neidhart and his crew.

And there we are: at the racing section which has always been a core part of Team Orion. We are very proud to announce that another super star will join our international electric racing team! We cannot unveil a name yet, but with the Worlds coming up later this year one big name decided to switch his electronics to be get ready for this important event. Team Orion engineered and race approved products should help him to fulfill his ambitions.

July 1st is the big day when we will announce the super star's name - and we are sure that this driver will delight his fans with his move. We are delighted, too!"
