Press release from Thumb RC:
Calling all offroad RC racers in Michigan. Thumb RC will be busy over the
next two weeks. Our next organized practice is July 19th. The track will be
prepped and watered. It's your last chance to get practice in before our
next championship series race.
July 26th will be our next series race. Awards to the top three in each
class. You must race three of four races to be eligible for a year in award
in addition to our normal race awards. Our remaining three races do not
interfere with MSCS or FTMS schedules. We will be raffling off a Caster
Racing 1/18 scale vehicle on the 26th along with numerous other prizes and
gift certificates. Everyone will take a prize of some sort home. $15 for
your first class or $20 for unlimited classes. Kids in the novice class
race for free (transponder needed). Come join a great bunch of guys and
have some fun. The track can take a lot of rain. We will be racing rain or
shine. Also, we have a year long raffle going for a Caster Buggy. Every
racer gets one entry per event for the drawing after our last race. The
track gets tore up pretty good. Bring your pin tires or mx style tires for
loamy dirt.
We will also be featuring a mini class. Bring out your 1/12-1/18 scale
vehicles.
