The Big Apple Novarossi Nitro Challenge will be taking place this weekend in Long Island, New York. The race features a new layout built by the one and only Joey “The Dirt” Christensen! The following drivers are scheduled to be in attendance; Adam Drake, Reno Savoya, Jerome Treignier, Chad Phillips, Gunnar Rieck and Strong Island’s own Anthony Mazzara and Steve Plackis, as well as a host of the Northeast’s fastest drivers.  This is shaping up to be the premier event here in the Northeast!  Who will be crowned The Big Apple Novarossi Nitro Challenge Champion come Sunday?
 
MRRC Raceway in Manorville, NY will host The Big Apple Novarossi Nitro Challenge this weekend, with practice from 8-6:30 on Friday, four qualifying rounds on Saturday starting at 9:30 AM, and main events begin Sunday at 9 AM. It's $50 to enter, with 1/8-scale nitro and electric offered for both buggy and truck, as well as a Pro-4 short course class. 
 
Long Island's best, Anthony Mazzara and Steve Plackis, and the fastest in the Northeast will face off against pro drivers like Adam Drake, Renaud Savoya, and more!
