In the future, DrewMo will also count on LRP. The young US-American equips his cars in the Electric and Nitro classes completely with components from the blue high-tech force.
The start of the cooperation was rather unorthodox: Drew was looking for a suitable 1/8 drive system for the Dirt Nitro Challenge. The usual combination of iX8 speed control and Dynamic 8 motor did not completely convince him. Therefore, John Mora’s (LRP America) suggestion came into effect – to just try the Dynamic 10L. And guess what happened – the motor convinced all along the line in his Mugen eBuggy: highest power over the complete rpm range and a tremendous top speed.
Since then, DrewMo’s success curve goes straight up. The 18 year old driver, successful at numerous races across the USA, swears by the blue “wonder” from Germany. Therefore, the next step was already clearly laid out: Extending the contract with LRP – this time directly with the headquarters (until now: LRP America). As of today, DrewMo uses LRP electric motors, LRP speed controls, LRP LiPo batteries, LRP chargers as well as LRP Nitro engines and the suitable accessories.
The LRP products will be deployed in all classes where Drew is active: 1/10 Electric Offroad 2WD + 4WD, 1/8 Nitro Buggy, 1/8 Electric Buggy and 1/8 Nitro Truggy … like for example at the most recent international main event – the IFMAR 1/8 World Championship in Sicily/Italy. He only missed the final by a hair with his LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic Spec.2 engine.
