Sponsorships to be awarded at Battle of the Sikest

Levi Jackson’s Sik Track Designs and race director Jimmy Babcock are preparing for the Battle of the Sikest of 2015, scheduled for May 1-3 at Thunder Alley R/C Raceway. The three-day race will be capped at 250 entries for Pro, Intermediate, and Sportsman nitro buggy and truck classes, plus 40+ and Electric Buggy divisions.

All classes will run a triple-A Main format, and both Intermediate champions will earn 50% sponsorships from REX USA while Sportsman winners will earn Tekno RC and AKA 50% sponsorships as well as a free engine from REX USA. The top three drivers in all non-Pro classes will receive a set of tires and wheels from AKA.

Racers will only be allowed to enter one skill level each, and drivers whose lap times are noticeably faster than the rest of the class may be bumped to the next level. Drivers sponsored at least 50% must run Intermediate.

Raffle prizes will be provided by the race sponsors including a Tekno RC kit, plus items from Byron’s Fuel, O’Donnell glow plugs, and Punch Racing Fuel.
