Jason Schurig from Rattlesnake Raceway, a volunteer-operated club track in Anderson, CA, shot me a note about a recent renovation to the track ahead of this summer's outdoor 1/8-scale off-road season. They hired AMain.com track builder Kevin Jelich, who built the 1/10-scale off-road ROAR Nationals and IFMAR Worlds tracks in 2013 and will be in charge of this year's ROAR Fuel Off-Road Nationals course, to sculpt this awesome layout from freshly sifted dirt.

Rattlesnake Raceway will host club races for drivers of 1/8-scale electric and nitro buggies and trucks, as well as 4WD short course trucks, of all ability levels on May 2nd and May 16th. Jason said that the team of volunteers have poured thousands of hours into improving the track and facility and can't wait to show it off! For more info, check out www.rattlesnakerc.com.
