Dakotah Phend was smooth and consistent taking the TQ run in the first round of Pro Truggy at the 2021 Dirt Nitro Challenge.
Dakotah (TLR) took the TQ by less than 3 tenths of a second over Spencer Rivkin (Team Associated). Rivkin would finish less than 2 tenth ahead of Jared Tebo (Tekno). Dakotah was content with his run, wanted a little more forward drive out of his truck but just took a smooth consistent win. Tebo started slow and ramped up his pace towards the end but it just wasn't quite enough to win the round. Tyler Jones (Tekno) would take a solid quite finish in 4th, and Ryan Maifield (Mugen Seiki) with 5th after two mistakes on the step up.
