First pictures of The Dirt Nitro Challenge track build!

Every February about this time, Joey Christiansen - the man, the myth, the legend behind "The Dirt" and all things Nitro Challenge - begins work on what always becomes his newest masterpiece of Earth, water, and plastic tubing. OK, not the usual ingredients behind what most of society's idea of a "masterpiece" would be, but to us R/C racers- the works of art Joey creates can easily be gazed upon longingly for hours upon hours. Did I take that too far?

Anyways, the point is- the 2012 Dirt Nitro Challenge track build is well underway! And we have so early pictures of the progress taken by Joey himself.

Remember, this year's event will take place at a new host facility Fear Farm R/C Raceway, located just outside of Phoenix, Arizona.
