Everybody knows that Friday is meant for reminiscing old times. Each week we take you back in time as we flashback to some of R/C racing's greatest moments, products, drivers, and more!

Flashback: 1985
Every winner of the IFMAR Electric Off-Road World Championships

Although the electric off-road scene isn’t quite as old as 1/8-scale nitro or 1/12-scale electric on-road, the biannual event which determines the world champions for the 1/10-scale electric 2WD and 4WD buggy classes is perhaps the most prestigious and storied of the disciplines recognized by the International Federation of Model Auto Racing. The history books for electric off-road tell the stories of bitter team rivalries, fiery personalities, and thrilling last-lap battles that crowned some of the brightest stars the RC industry has ever seen.

Here’s a list of every driver to win the 2WD and 4WD world championships and the equipment they used.
