IFMAR has 3 events this year, starting with Electric ISTC in July in the Netherlands, followed by 1/8th IC Off-road end of August (Brasil) and 1/10th IC track end of September (Australia).

Due to travel restrictions worldwide in an attempt to avoid spreading this virus our IFMAR events calendar may change. The majority of these restrictions were done over the last view days in an attempt to control the virus.

The warm-up event in Heemstede (Netherlands) for the Electric ISTC event on May 8/9/10th has been cancelled, see earlier message.

The warm-up event in Brasil for the 1/8th IC Off-road April 2-5th has been cancelled.

At the moment we can only follow the news. It seems Europe is effected more now, but a majority of countries is taking steps every day week depending on the number of casualties they find (closing public events, restaurants, bars, schools etc).

Major (inter)national sports competitions everywhere have been cancelled or postponed.

We can only advise for now to wait with making any bookings for air flights and hotels.

As for Electric ISTC which is the first event on the IFMAR Calendar, we will give a new update before the 15th of April (approx 3 months for the scheduled event). Hopefully we can see by that time if the number of infected persons has start dropping YES or NO in the Netherlands and if travel restriction are coming back to normal. In worst case the event will/can be cancelled/postponed. The same applies to the other events later this year.
