Drivers in the RC industry will not have to look far in the JConcepts line-up for heritage Ford truck designs such as the 1995 Ford F-150. One of the favorites for truck lovers, the aero nose truck concept helped build Ford’s reputation as the best selling truck. In the 9th generation, trucks were created with more internal and external features, popular trim packages helped trucks appeal to a wider audience. A classic never goes out of style, and, now with JConcepts, the 1995 Ford truck can now be a designated crawler for the masses.

The JConcepts philosophy on a tucked body is to make it look like a truck, add allowances for increased articulation, minimal overhang and to accommodate competition sized tires. Aero nose Fords are code named by JConcepts “Lithium” which is a nod to when these trucks were born, the height of the grunge music era of the 1990’s. The single cab body brings back the memories of bench seating, lap seat beats, AM/FM radio with CD player turned up to the max. Vintage JConcepts body shells come clear in the package, have preinstalled overspray film, include versatile decal sheet, and window masks.

The design began by emulating body lines and language from various photos around the world and real world vehicles. Body panels feature slight curvature, upper notch familiar with early generation Ford trucks, and edged and kicked rocker panel at the bottom. The narrow front nose Tucks to ~4” in width giving Lithium plenty of front-end clearance for JConcepts Tuck, Landmines, Ruptures, and Megalithic tire combinations. Running the body at a lower height and especially on vehicles such as the Axial SCX Pro give the proper look and stance designers from JConcepts had in mind.

Larger opening wheel well and fender flares make their way into this project and blend smoothly into the profile giving a little more might and matter. Single window cab, door lines, hood lines are all intact on the JConcepts piece to overcome all obstacles. Flat rear bed area makes body mounting simple with a touch of realism, rear window is scribed into place, rear taillight area is recessed for decals and tailgate piece looks fantastic in Ford decal texture.

The clear pre-trimmed body is completely factory cut with an incredible edge finish around the wheel wells, along with front and rear bumper areas. The pre-trimmed decals apply easily and quickly, and the included window mask has already been tailored to the exact shapes of the windows for an easy-to-use concept. Appling the grille, and headlights finalize the look, place miscellaneous Ford, JConcepts, and Lithium logos about the shell for the best look.

The JConcepts team builds, tests, and travels the world to support the brand and gather valuable driver feedback in search of the best appearing and performance items on the market. The product is designed in the U.S.A. and always backed by JConcepts customer service, supported, and developed by professionals with style, licensing, and authenticity. Look for reputable dealers and distributors and demand authentic and licensed products – choose JConcepts.
