Press Release From JConcepts:

JConcepts extends the tuning capability of the Regulator chassis conversion by offering a stackable chassis weight. The machined brass unit can be easily added to the bottom of the chassis to increase weight to one of the lowest locations on the vehicle. The design allows the ability to stack additional weights if necessary to the same footprint with (not included) hardware. Weight added to the chassis area on a retro monster truck can improve suspension performance by increasing the sprung weight. This allows for better jump handling and landing and the ability to plant the tires into the racing surface via front to rear weight transfer.

In several sanctioned RC racing events, it’s helpful to be able to add additional weight to make minimum requirements for competition. JConcepts now has several tuning items available for the Regulator chassis kit to make adjusting on the fly or for certain events worry free. The product is always backed by JConcepts customer service, supported, and developed by professionals with style and authenticity. JConcepts, since 2003 – World Proven Innovation and Design

Features:

  • Precision machined, brass material
  • Solid weight placement positioning
  • Stackable design and construction
  • 1 stackable piece included per package

The JConcepts Regulator chassis conversion kit arrives standard with aluminum machined horizontal chassis members front and rear. To accommodate different rules across the RC monster truck world, JConcepts has made available brass versions of the horizontal members. The brass weight adds additional chassis weight at each end of the truck loading up on sprung weight to the Regulator. This allows for better jump handling and landing and the ability to plant the tires into the racing surface via front to rear weight transfer.

During a normal race day, it’s helpful to be able to adjust weight bias depending on the track, conditions, and available grip. The new brass weight options for the JConcepts Regulator chassis give a multitude of places to add sprung weight to the popular chassis conversion. Inside the Regulator, separating the chassis rails are tubes which provide rigidity to the construction but also serve as positioned weight inside the layout. Utilizing the brass chassis brace tubes, it’s possible to carefully position them where needed to setup for a variety of track conditions. For quick starts or wheelie concerns, arrange the truck with more front weight bias or in light traction situations, move weight to the rear.

During a normal race day, it’s helpful to be able to adjust weight bias depending on the track, conditions, and available grip. If adding more weight to the overall chassis is a priority, simply apply the tubes in all 4 locations to match with (not included) #2816B and / or #2819-30 additional weight accessories.
