In the latest touring car racing scene, where lightweight bodies are used, it's possible to adjusting the driving feel by adding reinforcement to certain parts of the body.
By using this trunk stiffener, it is possible to increase the rigidity of the rear section adding downforce to the rear of the car, improving high speed stability.
