Chassis weight, design, and construction is a fundamental aspect of all design. Generally the largest and heaviest item on a vehicle, the chassis, is a tunable item that can be paired with new and evolving setups to yield next level results. The Honeycomb chassis by JConcepts sheds some weight in a unique pattern and allows the all important rigidity to remain intact. The air-craft grade, 7075 aluminum chassis material has all the matching hole locations as the stock unit making the JConcepts a direct bolt-on piece.

The chassis blank is hard anodized black and as a second operation, milled hex shaped pockets are added throughout the main surface removing weight. In the main electronics compartment, aluminum islands are left to allow an electrical footing area for mounting and wiring needs. The hex pockets in the center of the chassis have been cleared for sensor wire or miscellaneous wire routing. All edges of the honeycomb pockets have been highlighted with chamfered edging all around, bringing out an even more luxurious look.

The honeycomb chassis weighs in at 112gms, some 23gms less than a stock counterpart all while still remaining structurally sound. Ideal for stock and modified racers, the chassis is a standout in the pit area as well with its appearance and high-end glossy looks. The chassis is etched with JC logo for branding and authenticity.
