Another sighting from the Shizouka Hobby Show is the new Yokomo BMax2 offroad buggy.
Red RC reported today, "The car features a class-standard plastic composite chassis, composite shock towers, big bore shock absorbers and something that looks like a quick-release battery hold down. The kit looks to be conventional a rear-motor-only affair with the speed controller becomes mounted atop the battery as the chassis side pods are very narrow making for a slim chassis design."
After doing some investigating, the new buggy has recently been featured in a Japanese RC magazine as well, and appears to be getting closer to production. Will the BMax2 revive the Yokomo offroad market?
