New Mugen Seiki droop gauge, MBX7 chassis weights, and Beat Novarossi NV21-BT9 engine

Mugen Seiki released a new “rebound stop gauge,” which can be used to measure shock length or “droop,” as well as two new chassis weights for the MBX7 line of off-road buggies and trucks.

The droop gauge keys onto the upper shock mounting nut, which makes it easy to read the overall shock length and make adjustments. Before the shocks are mounted to the vehicle, the gauge can be used to determine equal shock rebound from left to right. The gauge is long enough to be used with both MBX7 buggies and MBX7T trucks.

The new 20g and 40g chassis weights are clearly marked, and can be attached directly to pre-drilled holes in the chassis. Both weights can be added to the front or rear of the nitro-powered MBX7 and MBX7T vehicles, though the varied chassis layout of the ECO buggy and truck mean that the weights will only fit behind the front gearbox.

Mugen Seiki Racing also announced the new Mugen Beat Novarossi NV21-BT9, a specially tuned on-road racing engine fitted with a ceramic rear bearing. The engine’s 14.5mm crankshaft is particularly modified for more power, and complements the aluminum 9mm slide carburetor and C8TGH turbo glow plug.
