Italian company Bittydesign, founded by star painter Stefano Rabitti - the brother of veteran racer Davide Rabitti - started sharing sneak peeks at its upcoming ASCARI shell for 190mm touring cars over a week ago. On April 28, Bittydesign announced that the body's official release would occur on May 10 - and followed up with a short clip sharing some behind-the-scenes footage showing stages of the body's development.
Each successive teaser photo revealed more details of what looks like an aggressive, Alfa-inspired shell that was reportedly created in collaboration with full-size automotive engineers with emphasis on both on-track performance and show-stopping style. Here's a timeline:
