#600878 - Clutch-bell 2-speed alu nickel coated GT

For the Cobra GT cars in GP mode, Serpent introduce this nickel plated aluminum lightweight 2-speed clutch bell.

This alu 7075 T6 version is around 60% lighter compared to the steel version, and the nickel plating gives a very grippy and long wearing surface. The bell is CNC machined, lightened and threaded, with a perfect bearing fit.

The clutch bell can be used with the black (carbon) as well as the with the new yellow shoes, or in any mix as preferred.

For Cobra GT 1/8 Serpent offer these new machined yellow type material clutch shoes for the superb Cobra 4-pin clutch system. The clutch will give extra bottom punch.

In GT the shoes can be used on the steel clutch bell ( std and light) or the new ultra light nickel plated aluminium clutch bell. On the alu bell the clutch action will be most aggressive.

The new yellow shoes can also be mixed 2/2 with regular carbon shoes or also with alu shoes.

Which springs to use depends on driver and track conditions. 

For Cobra buggy and truggy the new shoes can also be tried in full yellow, or also mixed with black or alu ones.

For the 1/8 scale GP car the Viper 977 we introduce this pulley-set ( 6) in a newly developed low friction composite mix. 

The new composite material creates a very smooth surface on the pulleys, which allows the belts to have less friction and creates a more efficient drive train performance.

The material is a bit softer than our black pulley compound, so wear rate may be a little bit higher.
