Back in March 2016, SOAR Seiki teased the impending release of the 998 TD1 1/8-scale buggy, an evolution of the original 998 buggy that first hit the market two years ago. Though details of the kit haven't yet been published, SOAR did share a handful of photos showing off the new off-road buggy.

The car is fitted with large-bore shocks that look almost stubby, given the bore-to-length ratio, and the front suspension uses a lower pillow ball with upper A-arm turnbuckle link. The car includes machined aluminum shock towers and a carbon fiber upper brace, with the fuel tank utilizing a clunk for consistent fuel delivery even when upside down. Perhaps the most striking feature is the decal wrap for the receiver box and air filter, which matches that of the rear wing!

More information will be shared here as it becomes available.
