Roche Products International has released new option parts for the latest version of its IFMAR World Championship-winning 1/12-scale car, the Rapide P12-2017. Most notable is a new, 2.5mm-thick, 7075 aluminum chassis with extensive machining to reduce weight and optimizing flex that features a floating side-link system like that found on the Rapide F1. The narrow width of the chassis and increased clearance of the side-link system make for less scrubbing during tight corners. The chassis also includes a new carbon fiber bumper plate (which is available separately) and the necessary hardware, and is anodized black with red edges. A corresponding lower pod plate is also available.
