Leadfinger is back from the grind stone and has created a much needed truck body for the Serpent Cobra 811 TE!

"The project is pure innovation from the LFR/Serpent team. We worked long nights together back and forth by texting pictures and ideas to bring this beast to life."

LFR had two major hurdles to jump. First, was the front body mount and shock clearance. Second, was to innovate an attractive design to allow room for the rear shocks that are mounted to the front of the rear tower; while incorporating plenty of clearance for the mud guards when the suspension is under full compression.

"It was a lot to chew on at first," states owner Chris Schaefer. "All of us needed to sleep on it at times, but the end result is an attractive body that brings a planted feel to the truck, further enhancing performance of an already great platform."

In order to get the desired look and fit Leadfinger changed the front mounting posts to that of the ones used on the Serpent's E-Truggy - (Part #600673) from the Serpent website. You will need these mounts as the nitro posts will not fit. It's a simple change that will give your Strife body a drop fit.
