Mugen Seiki introduced an aluminum chassis for the MTC1 electric touring car, which is stiffer and offers a lower center of gravity than the original piece it replaces. The chassis is intended for use on medium- to high-bite surfaces, and is machined under the battery and electronics mounting areas to alter its flex characteristics.
