New from Nosram:
Nosram released their new-for-2018 lineup of LiHV batteries, which use Graphene-2 technology that’s capable of being charged to 4.35 volts per cell and, accordingly, last longer when charged to the more typical 4.2 volts each. All five packs have red-colored hard cases and 5mm gold plug ports for reduced resistance.
The largest of the range, the 8000mAh TC Stock Spec pack, is a standard “stick” size and weighs 330 grams. The 6400mAh LCG version, which is just 22.5mm tall, weighs 274 grams. The new 5500mAh TC Ultra LCG pack is just 20mm tall and weighs 230 grams. The Shorty Stock Spec is 25.1 mm tall and packs 5800mAh of capacity, and the Offroad Stock Spec 6600mAh 4S battery weighs 635 grams with enough power for today’s 1/8-scale off-road buggies and trucks.
