STRC releases new Axial SCX10 short wheelbase conversion kit

 

ST Racing Concepts has announced today their new short wheelbase conversion kit for the Axial SCX10 series vehicles.

 

  

Whether you are ready to try something new with your SCX10 or wanting to get into a custom trail rig build, our SCX10 Short Wheelbase Chassis Conversion kit will provide the perfect foundation for that new project. This short wheelbase conversion kit starts with a solid 4mm CNC Machined chassis rails (not a stamped or cast aluminum chassis) and these chassis rails “box-in” the center skid plate with a pair of 4mm CNC machined side plates. Included are also a full set of aluminum suspension link to shorten the wheelbase to approximately 250mm. Hardware and aluminum accessories are included to redistribute the weight as well with the battery now up front over the front axles. This wheelbase is perfect for highly detailed Tamiya Bodies for the CC-01 platform (Mercedes Unimog, Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Land Cruiser, and the upcoming Toyota FJ Cruiser). Available in Black, Gun Metal, and Silver anodized.

Also available: Optional anodized color chassis rails and side plates (red, green) and replacement 74mm suspension links (1 pair)
